•  By using a systematic approach, IEFA's first aid courses enable first
responders to act efficiently and effectively, step-by-step, in response
to a health emergency; this is a practical, hands-on first aid course.

with different levels of education and cognitive skills including individuals
with limited reading and writing skills.

•  The first aid training materials, which are continuously updated, are
designed to provide learners with the most current theory and practical
guidelines for rendering emergency first aid care.

•  The first aid training manuals consist of units. Learning outcomes are
stated for each unit in the manual and learners are presented with
course information and summaries to assist them achieve these
outcomes. The manual also contains assessment guidelines and self-
assessment activities, which will help learners to monitor their progress.

Our audio visual aids for first aid training include PowerPoint pre-
sentations, videos, slides, OHP transparencies, anatomical charts and
   flip-charts.

•  The first aid training courses are concluded with formal learner
assessment. Every effort is made to ensure that assessment practices

and formal assessment of the learner. If any learner is not yet
competent, he/she may repeat the course at no extra cost. The
certificate is valid for three years after which learners will be required

courses to enable first aiders to keep their first aid skills sharpened
and to become familiar with new first aid practices and procedures.
